The Director of Organizational Development sits with the Talent and Culture Center of Expertise (CoE) at Bristol Myers Squibb. In this role, you will join a highly motivated and integrated team and focus on developing the organization and shaping the culture for the future. With deep expertise in organizational development in a global CoE, you are well versed in designing impactful solutions that drive high-performing organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with executive leaders as well as enterprise corporate strategy and operational excellence teams to develop, implement, and manage approach for organizational effectiveness at Bristol Myers Squibb.
- Serve as thought leaders on priority projects.
- Research and apply industry best practices for organizational effectiveness, and consult, enable, and guide HR partners.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align organizational development initiatives with business goals.
- Manage overall portfolio of key enterprise priority projects.
- Conduct organizational assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify key internal and external partners and guide their execution of interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of organizational development programs and partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors in human resources, psychology, business administration, life sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in global organizational effectiveness and development roles, HR business partnering, change management, and/or demonstrated measurable results as a management consultant.
- Prior biotech, pharma, or life sciences industry experience.
- Proven track record of enabling business strategy and creating sustainable value through organizational effectiveness work in highly complex global organizations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrable ability to simplify solutions, create buy-in, and quickly add value.
- Attention to detail, ability to analyze and use data to tell simple, and compelling stories.
