You Are:
The IT Marketing Solution Services (MSS) team is looking for an onsite QA / test lead who will play a primary role in the planning and execution of all aspects of testing across multiple web applications within the MSS ecosystem.
The opportunity:
- Hybrid: In office/remote
- Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Act as key point of contact onsite for all test aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating with test resources offshore.
- Lead and mentor QA team members as needed.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and ensure that system components are designed for testability.
- Partner with offshore team to conduct performance tests as needed.
- Provide testing support during production cutover (releases) as needed.
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
What you need:
- 7+ years’ experience in the software testing or Quality Assurance field including hands-on test engineering experience (web application test experience preferred).
- Ability to write select queries and a solid understanding of relational databases.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures to support various development methodologies.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
- Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture and deployment
- Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes.
- Experience working and partnering with an offshore team
- Experience with Test management tools such as JIRA and test automation tools such as QTP or Selenium
- Desirable Skills
- Experience with marketing automation tools such has Hubspot, Eloqua, exact target, Customer Campaign, Customer Marketo.
- CRM test experience (Salesforce, Marketo or Dynamics), Web services test experience preferred.
- Quality certifications are a plus.
- Force.com, XML schema validation or test experience is a plus.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: California
Compensation Range: $102,000-$155,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
