We are in search of an FP&A Analyst Lead to join our Corporate FP&A Expense team located in the Global Headquarters Reston, VA. As a core member of the Corporate FP&A Expense team, you will play a valuable part in supporting and executing a wide range of projects and programs in Corporate FP&A Expense. The FP&A Analyst Staff supports the Corporate Finance team by providing financial reports, detailed analysis, forecasting, mentoring and training staff, and other financial support as required.
This position interfaces regularly with Senior Managers and Functional Executives, so you need to be comfortable presenting and attending functional Vice President's reviews. In this role, you will be supporting Corporate Indirect functions from a financial perspective and be involved in active engagement in the functional team rhythms. You will attend regular meetings with Functional leadership, provide valuable insight/inputs, and lead the development of AOP and Quarterly forecasts with the Functional executive and their teams.
The mission of our FP&A Expense team is to be the financial liaisons for the Functional Executive team. Working hand-in-hand with functional executives and their teams to achieve functional mission-critical goals, our team ensures the financial forecast and plans are in order. Our goal is to look for opportunities for efficiencies and to make strategic financial recommendations to our leaders. Through Dashboarding, reporting, and analysis, our team maintains Corporate cost control.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide financial planning and analysis
- Report monthly variances to the finance leadership team each month.
- Determine cost accruals as necessary based on NPO/PO reports or known activities.
- Monitor depreciation schedules and ensure items are coming into the functional expense properly.
- Manage prepaids and licenses that need spreading throughout the year.
- Respond to Audit questions (internal, DCAA or DCMA).
- Lead team members in gathering responses to the CACO monthly variance questions.
- Direct functional reporting monthly functional tag-ups and weekly functional team reviews.
- Interact with Functional teams, Functional Executives, FP&A internally, Technical Accounting, & Compliance. Approve NPOs, POs, and PR requests.
- Support continuous process improvement activities, functional reporting optimization, and automation for the team.
- Support other accounting treatment-related items, such as special projects and journal entry adjustment coordination.
- Additional responsibilities may include coordinating Corporate operating income impacts and reporting quarterly variances in corporate operating impacts to the controller organization. Integration financial project planning and tracking.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills & detail-oriented
- Able to work onsite from Reston, VA several days per week (this is not a fully remote role)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with indirect expense development, management, and reporting
- Experience working with federal government customers
- Familiarity with the Hyperion Financial Reporting tool
- Knowledge of Costpoint, OAC Reporting, Power Pivot, Power BI, Dashboards

Pay Range: Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
