The Role
As a System Integration Engineer with Moxion Power Co. you’ll help develop and execute our system integration roadmap. Help define and refine the step-by-step process to test prototype and pilot assemblies from the ground up. You will have the opportunity to deliver advanced products that will transform and disrupt an industry which hasn't seen innovation in decades. What you’ll do:
- Work with software, mechanical, electrical, and hardware domains
- Analyze and resolve integration issues as they arise
- Capture lessons learned to inform on design, validation, and manufacturing
- Build, manage, execute, and improve integration plans
- Prototype / pilot unit bring-up
- Fault capture and root cause analysis
- Provide system level information and collaboration on DVP&R and DFMEA
- Utilize product knowledge gained in prototype phase to inform and assist manufacturing with inline test definition and equipment specification
Skills to be successful:
- Experience with integration and testing of software, electrical, and mechanical components
- Confident in data acquisition, analysis, and reporting technical details
- Ability to manage timelines and documentation
- Understanding of CAN communication protocols
- Comfortable diagnosing system problems and troubleshooting
Nice to haves:
- Battery, power electronics, and high voltage experience
- Flashing software / firmware onto electronic control units
- Calibration of software variables
- Instrumentation setup and configuration
