PagerDuty is seeking a Senior People Analytics & Workday Specialist II to be a leading member of our People Analytics team. As a Senior People Analytics and Workday Specialist, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the company to design and deliver people analytics that enhance our reporting capabilities through self-service and automation. You will establish an analytics practice capable of evaluating large, complex data sets and providing predictive analysis and insights. This is an exciting opportunity as your input will significantly influence our people analytics strategy, and you will need to employ a creative and adaptive approach. Some key deliverables include data products (e.g., dashboards, models) for People business metrics and insights (e.g., headcount, attrition, diversity, engagement), and analytics roadmaps/change management efforts. The ideal candidate is data obsessed and gets a kick out of analyzing data, gleaning new insights, and making concise, actionable recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own delivery of end-to-end analytic solutions for a key functional area of the business.
- Consult with leaders across the business to develop analytic roadmaps with a focus on insights that drive growth.
- Distill complex data insights into compelling and simple stories for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Leverage extensive experience with Workday to develop, maintain, and enhance analytics and reporting capabilities. Create advanced dashboards within Workday to provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights into key People metrics.
- Partner and support I&D strategic planning and councils by providing effective employee data, research, and insights.
- Participate in the analytics community, representing the organization and staying updated on trends and best practices.
- Evolve our reporting processes to ensure scalability, leveraging Workday and other tools.
- Identify, scope, and execute high-impact analytics projects.
- Develop and deliver timely and accurate People business metrics for internal partners (e.g., executive leadership, people leadership team, finance).
- Act as an advisor and subject matter expert on People data, highlighting trends and providing detailed analysis.
- Maintain strong data integrity and accuracy, continuously improving processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and contribute hands-on where needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of professional experience with an emphasis on analytics, and people/HR data.
- Strong proven experience with Workday, with an emphasis on people reporting and analytics.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders and levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in high tech.
- Experience creating executive-level dashboards using visualization tools like Tableau.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing platforms.
The base salary range for this position is 142,000 - 221,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
