Senior Vice President, Audience Solutions (Data Science)

Overview:
The SVP, Data Science will drive the audience platform for a large Power of One client, activating audience data and managing the technology platforms to drive better marketing decisions. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages audience strategies and collaborates with cross-functional teams to guide data science workflows and deliver on client objectives. The position will play a key role in collaborating across agency teams and maximizing existing audience data, as well as new data streams to fuel audience platforms. The SVP will provide intellectual capital, manage a dynamic data science team and help deliver on the audience strategy across all lines of business. This individual will develop and recommend best practices in data science and audience deployment to enhance campaign performance, drive business KPIs, and inspire compelling insights to drive conversion and innovation.
This individual will also partner closely with the data and platform solutions group; a specialized team within the agency acting as digital data and ad technology experts. This will include collaboration with the media team and internal groups who own DSP/Programmatic Strategy, Multi-Touch Attribution, Marketing Mix Modelling, and Dynamic Creative Optimization.
Role Objectives:
- Direct data science workflows and strategies for integrated audience strategy and delivery.
- Lead audience design and activation operations across a portfolio of brands.
- Lead a team of talented data scientists, setting clear objectives and providing mentorship and guidance.
- Provide strategic and tactical data driven audience recommendations to clients and key stakeholders.
- Drive audience-driven media plans, insights, and experiences in partnership with internal teams.
- Execute data science methodologies to impact business and campaign strategies across a client portfolio of brands.
- Lead audience deployments and workflows across our channel partners and internal marketing, analytics, and media planning teams for activation.
- Drive innovation in data science methodologies and technologies, staying at the forefront of industry trends including media trends, privacy regulations, Adtech/ Martech ecosystems, etc.
- Partner with the media, strategy and investment teams to drive data automation and make the audience platform a key tool for smarter planning.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and storytelling skills to inspire alignment and action.
Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of data scientists.
- Highly skilled in machine learning, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark with the ability to drive and enhance advanced statistical models/analyses for large-scale clients.
- 12+ years of experience preferred in data science, digital media, ad technology, ad operations, or analytics.
- B.A. or B.S., preferably in Data Science, Marketing, Advertising, or Computer Science.
- Self-starter who is quick to learn and eager to contribute.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects.
- Familiarity with accounting/math principles; deep statistical analysis experience.
- Agency leadership experience preferred.
Compensation Range: $167,000 - $235,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
