GENERAL PURPOSE: The Talent & Onboarding Partner is responsible for administering the organization’s talent recruitment, hiring and onboarding of all talent. This position will assist with ensuring that the organization’s processes attract and retain quality talent that reflects our core values.
Essential Functions:
- Administer the position requisition process and collaborate with hiring managers on job description development, defining selection criteria, and candidate competencies.
- Create position postings in UKG HRIS system for job vacancies, ensuring efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on role, industry standards and needs of the organization.
- Review resumes and be the first touchpoint for each candidate. Hold initial interview conversation with applicants and provide feedback to hiring manager.
- Develop innovative external candidate sourcing strategies through various channels: networking, recruitment technology (BetterTeam, Indeed, UKG Recruiting, Handshake, etc.) to build diverse talent pipelines.
- Advise managers and provide training as needed on best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates who fit the qualifications and competencies for the position, while being mindful of candidates that reflect the core values of the company.
- Work with managers to extend offers of employment and negotiate as needed with candidates.
- Manage the receipt of required documents for new hires including facilitating the electronic application and new hire documents.
- Provide and process appropriate candidate assessments and background screenings.
- Leverage analytics and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and tools. Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics to Leadership.
- Assist with personnel/job change processing as requested (i.e. terminations, supervision changes, position duties/title changes) including but not limited to updating required documents, processing changes in the HRIS system.
- Assists with the maintenance of employee-related files & documents and perform periodic audits of content to ensure accurate records as requested.
- Forefront the contractor and temporary employee process; maintain communication with hiring manager(s), Corporate Legal and Accounting.
- Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that foster a positive work culture and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to create opportunities and programs that promote employee involvement and morale.
- Organize company-wide events, such as monthly birthday happenings, holiday celebrations, and volunteer days, to foster a sense of community and belonging among employees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned, included but not limited to special projects and initiatives.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, and Canva
- Knowledge of federal employment laws/procedures and regulatory compliance guidelines

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of current experience
- HR related education, or applicable related training
- HS Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
