The Distinguished Engineer for Cyber Architecture is responsible for leading technology driven outcomes for the Information Security organization and the Enterprise. This role works with stakeholders across the enterprise to enable the secure operation of our technology infrastructure and is a technical authority on cloud and product security architecture.

- Influence the development and adoption of enterprise technology standards and architecture within their domain
- Influence Cyber product roadmaps both within and outside their assigned domain
- Provide well grounded and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Question assumptions, challenge beliefs, illuminate pitfalls, and foster a shared understanding across the engineering community
- Promote engineering excellence and is responsible for influencing and helping to drive the adoptions of best practices. Elevates engineering practices through automation, platforms, patterns, and reuse
- Help develop technical standards, policies and guidelines that ensure appropriate implementation and compatibility with company and security framework architectural and technical standards.
- Perform technical review and oversight of system architectures, participating in their design as needed, within their assigned domain. Lead the team through completion of architecture documentation and processes.
- Perform vendor architecture assessments against Cyber and Enterprise technical requirements and standards.
- Works across stakeholders and groups to resolve technology impediments to project delivery commitments.
- Participate as requested in the interview process and efforts to hire top talent
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in technical solution architecture or software engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure services (AWS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience in Cyber Intelligence
- 5+ years of technical information security experience
- 5 + years of Cyber-specific knowledge to develop new patterns and solution architectures
- 3+ years of experience with financial service compliance regulations (privacy, PCI)
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise grade security solutions based on open source projects
- 3+ years of experience with designing fully automated security solutions within a DevOps enterprise
- 5+ years of experience in defining strategy for security organizations in cross functional and matrixed enterprises
- CISSP or SANS certification
- Cloud computing certification
