If yes, how you will contribute to the team:
The Director of Nursing (DON) provides nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team. Windsor is looking for a dynamic candidate with strong leadership and interpersonal skills that is knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures.
As a valued facility leader, our Director of Nursing plays a critical strategic role of overseeing the leadership and guidance of our nursing services team in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. You will oversee appropriate utilization of resources necessary for the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated interdisciplinary approach. As a nurse leader, you will coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success!
Must have:
- Previous experience as DON or ADON or RN Supervisor
- 1-3 years’ experience in a nursing supervisory role providing direct care to multiple residents, Behavioral Health is ideal
- Graduate of approved RN program
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Environment
- Experience with PointClickCare
