Job Description:
- Responsible and accountable for all sales development of the Altair brands while overseeing the strategic development of the brand.
- Develop and execute the Altair strategic plan together with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
- Grow profitable sales volume in a competitive industry
- Maintain responsibility for the overall Altair P&L
- Manage teams with developing sales expertise and knowledge of Altair Brands.
- Develop and execute sales and business strategies. Monitor and review sales performance, including goals achievement, margins, customer satisfaction, and territory management
- Identify, evaluate, and implement sales training and tools to promote continuous improvement by working closely with the Sales Enablement team.
- Maintain relationships with all major accounts. Maintain a proactive, visible relationship with the entire customer base.
- Develop the Sales Department's annual budget and manage the Sales Department Actual vs. Budgeted P&L, providing reasonable forecasts for upcoming monthly sales.
- Analyze sales results and fine-tune strategies in order to reach Altair brand sales and profitability targets.
- Communicate closely with Sales Enablement, Supply Chain, Brand, Finance, Distribution, and Customer Services as needed to manage the overall Revenue and EBITDA targets
- Work collaboratively with Marketing/Product/Sales Enablement departments to develop profitable promotional programs and generate product development ideas.
- Oversee content, production, and distribution of all marketing materials working closely with the Brand department and sales enablement
- Assist in the development of tools to increase company efficiency and risk management working closely with sales enablement
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 3 additional years of experience related to functional area
- Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports
- Demonstrated excellence building effective sales teams
- Experience developing and managing budgeted and actual P&L
- Demonstrated ability to work within a global organization, contributing to cross-functional plans and building stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties
- Travel domestic and international required at 20% of work time
Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Range: 120000 - 182500
