RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is NOT a remote position.
As a Director of IT, you will work closely with the rest of our team and end users to ensure that our company is using the most up-to-date technology to run our business. We are seeking a Director of IT who will be responsible for ensuring that the hardware and software used by our company and association is operating as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems and hardware – including installing new software, drivers, firmware, etc.
- Monitor and manage the success of IT initiatives and projects.
- Primary point of contact for all IT needs.
- Server and network administration – responsible for overseeing all infrastructure.
- Microsoft 365 and Windows AD administration.
- Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources.
- Responsible for user setup and support of all Celebration staff.
- 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting, with the ability to support higher levels as well.
- Various other duties, as needed or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of desktop support experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of networking (wired and wireless) – including routers, switches, and access points – VPN tunnels, IP schemas.
- Microsoft Office 365 apps (documents, spreadsheets primarily).
- Active Directory, Domains, DNS.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new tasks/skills.
- Good written AND verbal communication skills.
- Pleasant personality and ability to clearly communicate with people of all knowledge levels.
- Must be able to succeed in a dynamic team environment and be open to overtime when necessary.
This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation and/or drug screen.
