The Hotel General Manager role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including coordinating staff schedules, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and monitoring financial performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities for the Hotel General Manager include:
- Promote and market the property.
- Manage budgets, financial plans, financial records, and statistical information.
- Recruit, train, and coach staff.
- Achieve profit targets.
- Deal with guest complaints and comments.
- Compliance with all current brand standards including regulatory and Commonwealth Hotels.
Requirements for the Hotel General Manager include:
- Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum, and social skills.
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
- Detail-oriented professional.
- Understanding of group and transient sales processes and forecasting procedures.
- Excellent organization skills, manage time well, correctly prioritizes, and is flexible.
