Reporting into the VP, Software Engineering, the Senior Director of Engineering will lead a diverse software engineering group focused on revenue cycle management/post service functionality across multiple products. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the revenue cycle management engineering team vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap. The Senior Director of Engineering will be a critical leader in the company’s strategy for technical innovation and driving growth across multiple products, with a special focus on the Essentials Pro product. Tight alignment and coordination with Product Management and other innovation driving functions like Data Science and AI will be of utmost importance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15+ years managing technical teams and leading highly productive cross-functional teams with a solid foundation in software design.
- Experience with revenue cycle management/post services is required.
- Adept at partnering closely with, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the company to shape strategic priorities.
- Prior agile technical leadership in growing organizations.
- Demonstrated and proven ability in being a strategic problem-solver.
- Strong analytical capabilities, be organized, systematic, metrics oriented and able to manage multiple topics at the same time.
- Manage and develop geo-distributed teams, growing teams’ competencies, and perform against company targets.
- Knows how to create a culture of collaboration and inclusion and strong technical ownership to improve products and services’ efficiencies, scalability, and security.
- Able to ensure close alignment between Engineering, Product Management, and User Experience.
- Willing to provide technical guidance to engineering teams and management.
- Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Cloud and SaaS architectures.
- Possess a blend of technical and business skills and an interest in and knowledge of emerging engineering practices, including Cloud development and deployment.
- First-hand experience building, delivering, operating, and supporting complex software and infrastructure at scale with 99.99+% SLA’s.
- Deep expertise in leading product-centric development teams with a high degree of customer focus.
- Proven track record in leading teams responsible for deploying systems in critical, large-scale production environments.
- Proficient in planning and presenting budgets.
- Comfortable with executive level presentations including Board Level.

- Getting things done and being comfortable in details as needed to drive functional and operational excellence.
- Using data and metrics to measure and actively drive improvement in team and in process performance.
- Partnering with enterprise architects, infrastructure, and applications teams to ensure that technologies are developed and maintained according to security policies and guidelines.
- Monitoring the industry and external environment for emerging trends and advise relevant stakeholders on appropriate course of action.
- Collaborating with strategy partners and vendors on relevant issues.
