We have an exciting opportunity at Caterpillar Inc. for a Pilot to serve within the Caterpillar Aviation Services Division. This position will act as a qualified pilot operating company aircraft, supporting Caterpillar efforts worldwide.
The individual selected for this position will possess and demonstrate exceptional leadership, followership and organizational skills. The individual must also demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills along with the ability to communicate effectively. Type Ratings in the Global 6000 or a Gulfstream VII are highly desired.
What You Will Do:
- Report directly to the Chief Pilot for the safe conduct of assigned flights
- Ensure flight planning, weather criteria, and aircraft weight and balance requirements have been met
- Conduct aircraft pre-flight inspection prior to each departure as well as ensure the passengers have been briefed in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration requirements
- While conducting flights internationally, ensure both the aircraft, crew, and passengers are within compliance of customs, immigration and local laws
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Possess a First-class medical certificate from an FAA certified physician
- Possess an Airline Transport Pilot license
- Minimum of 2000 hours of fixed wing flight time
- Must have at least 100 hours instrument flight experience with a minimum of 50 hours under actual instrument conditions
- Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in one of the following:
- FAR Part 121
- FAR Part 135
- Military experience
- Corporate experience
- No accidents or violations
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
- Type Ratings in the Global 6000 or a Gulfstream VII
Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required

- The primary location for this position is at our aviation facility in Fort Worth, Texas
- Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
