Feldkamp Marketing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Analytics to lead our insights team and drive data-driven decisions that deliver impactful business results. This individual will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of analysts, turning insights into actionable strategies, and ensuring that data is used effectively to inform sales and business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, be able to sell with data, and demonstrate expertise in CRM systems and category management.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring their development and growth to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and growth for our clients within the Kroger ecosystem.
- Train analysts on how to extract meaningful insights from data and present it in a way that drives sales and client engagement.
- Develop and implement strategies that leverage category insights to support sales initiatives, merchandising plans, and product placement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data insights are integrated into broader business strategies and sales efforts.
- Provide leadership on CRM system integration and ensure that data management supports client and business development needs.
- Drive thought leadership within the category insight function, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends and new analytics tools.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high performing teams.
- Ability to turn insights into strategic actions that drive business growth and client success.
- Experience in training and developing analysts to effectively use data and present it in a compelling, actionable way.
- Strong ability to sell with data, leveraging insights to influence sales strategies and client relationships.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys interacting with people. Additionally, you must:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field; required. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in category management, insights, or analytics, with leadership experience; required.
- Strong knowledge of Kroger-specific tools, including 8451; required.
- Strong knowledge of JDA (Blue Yonder) and PowerBI.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- CRM experience is preferred, with the ability to lead system integration efforts.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business results.
- Experience with AI, SQL, and data automation; preferred.
