As the Executive Director, Cyber Security Operations Leader at CVS Health, will report to the VP, Information Technology. You will helm a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's digital infrastructure. Your responsibilities encompass a multifaceted approach, spanning directory services, identity and access operations, and network and infrastructure operations.
Directory Services (including Active Directory):
Your expertise in directory services, including Active Directory, ensures seamless integration and management of user accounts, groups, and access controls across CVS Health's network. You'll orchestrate the design, deployment, and maintenance of directory services, optimizing efficiency and security while facilitating smooth user experiences.
Identity & Access Operations:
In this capacity, you'll lead efforts to fortify identity and access management strategies, ensuring stringent authentication and authorization protocols. Your oversight encompasses the entire lifecycle of user identities, from onboarding to offboarding, enforcing least privilege principles and robust access governance frameworks to mitigate risks.
Network and Infrastructure Operations:
The robustness of CVS Health's network and infrastructure falls under your purview. Your strategic direction enhances the resilience and scalability of network architecture, leveraging advanced technologies to fortify defenses against cyber threats. Your focus on infrastructure operations ensures the reliability and performance of critical systems, fostering continuity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive security platform strategy aligned with CVS Health's objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, security, and business stakeholders to align security initiatives with organizational goals.
- Lead a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze security trends and emerging threats, proactively implementing measures to mitigate risks and enhance resilience.
- Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a robust security posture.
- Manage a team of around 300 (5 Direct Reports)
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of Experience leading a Security organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Systems
- Extensive experience in security operations leadership roles, preferably in a healthcare or highly regulated industry
- Proficiency in directory services, identity and access management, and network and infrastructure operations
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and risk management frameworks
- Travel: 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
