The Mass General Cancer Center seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologists or oncologists/hematologists for the Medical Director of the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, and Portsmouth, NH. In addition to the Mass General Cancer Center Hematology/Oncology practice at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, there is onsite radiation oncology and surgery. While in the community, this position will have strong oversight and connections to the Mass General Cancer Center campus in Boston.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care for hematology/oncology patients.
- Lead and participate in a multidisciplinary care setting.
- Coordinate care with colleagues in various departments.
- Work with leadership teams to build community programs.
Qualifications:
- Record of success in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients.
- Confidence working in a community environment.
- Caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Willingness to involve patients and families in the decision-making process.
- New Hampshire and Massachusetts licensure preferred but not required.
