Sploot Veterinary Care is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care in the form of Urgent & Primary Care Clinics, and we’re looking for a ROCKSTAR Clinical Medical Director to join our team, and help us provide the ABSOLUTE BEST medical care to our patients.

What you’ll do as a Clinical Medical Director:
- Provide pet parents a positive and supportive experience to ensure they know their furry friends are being taken care of
- Lead the Medical Operations of a designated clinic and act as the Lead DVM on the clinic’s floor
- Support the development of our medical procedures and standards of care across the network
- Actively participate in hiring and training of new team members
- Mentor, coach and empower the clinic team to deliver the best care possible to our pets and their parents
- Experience a diverse caseload ranging from GP to Urgent Care patients
- Embrace and spread the Sploot culture with our core values centered in all you do
Who you are:
- You have a DVM / VMD degree with a North Carolina state veterinary license in good standing
- You have at least 5 years of experience in general medicine and / or surgery
- You have successfully led veterinary teams in the past
- You’re excited about working with a team that is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care and offering pets the best care possible whenever they need it
- You are effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously including delegation, prioritization, and taking responsibility
- You’re passionate about providing the best possible pet care, always striving to be a better doctor and to help the team and clinic grow in capability and care
- You’re a collaborative team player, who thrives in fast-paced environments and prioritizes a great work culture

- Previous experience in emergency medicine, urgent care and dental procedures

- Previous experience launching a new veterinary clinic
What Sploot will provide you:
- Competitive base salary with a total compensation package ranging from $145,000 - $200,000
