Leads the organization’s strategy and execution in solutions and technical innovations in core capabilities, intellectual property development, customer mission support, and competitive organic growth by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate team members.
The CTO works with Executive Management and Operations to position the company for future growth by continually improving, enhancing, and growing 4insite’s technical capabilities through vision, inspiration, and coaching.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s technical vision in capabilities, develop branded technical approaches and methodologies, and build technical solutions and demonstrations that solidify and differentiate 4insite in the market.
- Lead the team in solving complex technical challenges, developing innovative solutions, and delivering technical products and services to meet market demands.
- Develop and own related short-term and long-term technical roadmaps and budgets; drive execution and enable the team to meet intended outcomes and ensure that resources are invested wisely.
- Direct the company’s technical strategic direction, development, and capacity for future growth through core capabilities, solutions, and strategic partnerships.
- Responsible for growing and nurturing our software infrastructure.
- Own technical solutions including authoring and delivering technical volumes.
- Develop staffing solutions and basis of estimates for future technical support.
- Support operations as needed in project transitions, project execution, and implementation.
- Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads and operational leaders as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide thought leadership within the company; research and evaluate cutting-edge practices and enabling technologies for internal adoption as needed.
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
- Communicate 4insite’s technology strategy.
- Act as a good steward of 4insite’s resources and ensure control of technology investments and achieving expected returns.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the software development team members.
- Manage department budget. Understand cost drivers for human capital and creative solutions to manage productivity.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering preferred but not required, BS/BA in Computer Science, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 10+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
