Director, Enterprise Technology Transformation
As Director within our Technology Transformation consulting practice, you will lead an enterprise-level digitalization program focused on the integration and scaling of high-speed intelligent scanning operations. The Director will be responsible for providing strategic direction, managing an array of program analysis and process reengineering efforts, pilot project delivery, and client site integration activities, while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of leading complex government programs of similar scope, leveraging asynchronous multi-functional consulting teams, cultivating client relationships, and delivering impactful results.
Director, Enterprise Technology Transformation Responsibilities Include:
- Client Engagement & Advisory: Build and maintain strong relationships with federal client stakeholders, understanding needs, and collaborating with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME) on effective solutions. Serve as trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on transformation, best practices, and optimizing solutions.
- Program Management: Establish cadence and rhythm of multiple teams and deliverable build-ups to meet client priorities and needs. Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise transformation projects and on-time deliverables, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives. Orchestrate and communicate updates on a regular basis. Establish and monitor relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of actions.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a cross-functional program management team comprised of strategy consultants and analysts, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Solution Architect: Strong conceptual understanding of technology transformation, complex business process re-engineering, process improvement, digitalization and scanning operations, and other methodologies. Understands how to diagnose and solve complex technical problems. Continuous improvement, by staying abreast of industry trends, technology advancements, and policy/regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with clients and SMEs to develop and implement phased strategies and adoption plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.
- Change Management: Work closely with SMEs to develop and implement change management strategies and strategic communications, to facilitate smooth transitions and organizational adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services, meeting or exceeding client expectations and industry standards.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in leading technology transformation initiatives and managing transformation projects in a federal government environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency with MS office tools and digital collaboration environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
- Must be able to travel to client sites on a limited basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a top tier consulting firm with technology transformation and engagement management experience.
- Project management certification is a plus.
- Cloud, CISSP, ITIL, and/or other technical certifications are a plus.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Prior experience managing complex, large-scale programs, transformation for industrial-level processes for public sector organizations.
- Experience with leading large scale paper scanning projects, including familiarity with optical character recognition technologies (hardware and software), data integration, and digitization of paper records and forms.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Director, Enterprise Technology Transformation: Pay is commensurate with experience.
