The Indiana Bankers Association supports Indiana banks through advocacy, professional education, and products and services. Its mission is to advocate for and sustain an environment in which banks can succeed.
Job Overview
Reporting to the President & CEO of the Indiana Bankers Association, this position will provide visionary, entrepreneurial, collaborative leadership to create a statewide bank apprenticeship program for high school students. This position requires a person who is excellent with project management, self-disciplined to work with little direct supervision, has excellent collaboration skills and a passion for youth to succeed.
Executive Leadership
- Lead the Finance Services Academy (FSA) and develop a statewide banking apprenticeship program for high school students.
- Recruit banks, schools and students to collaborate with and participate in FSA.
- Establish and manage the Governance Steering Committee of FSA.
- Establish and manage Advisory Board of industry, education, and community leaders.
- With the Governance Steering Committee, develop strategic plan with vision, mission and with measurable goals and objectives to guide initiative.
- Manage organization for effectiveness and success achievement.
- Identify and implement best practices of domestic and international apprenticeship initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with IBA leadership to ensure alignment and proper reporting to the IBA.
- Develop and execute a funding plan to ensure sustainability.
- Recruit and manage team members to grow FSA.
- Effectively set and gain IBA approval of annual operating budget and manage to it.

Education and Experience Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree required & advanced degree preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Publisher).
- Experience in leadership and interest in youth career development.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
