Swedish Medical Group is seeking an Experienced Medical Director and Physician Leader for Palliative Care, a role that will be held concurrently with a Palliative Care Float Physician position. The Medical Director will work clinically with inpatient teams across four hospital campuses throughout the year, ensuring the achievement of program goals while upholding the core values of compassion, dignity, justice, excellence, integrity, and safety. This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of palliative care within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Full time position split between Medical Director and Clinical FTE.
- Work clinically with the inpatient teams at each of the 4 hospital campuses.
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the care of patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Compensation:
- Sign on bonus.
- Compensation is between $257,009 and $318,396 per year, which may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives.
- CME benefits may be available.
