BryceTech is currently looking for a Senior Management Analyst. This position will play a key role with a fast-paced ASPR client providing support to all areas of the primary public health emergency management and response agencies in the U.S. Government. This role will support the Office of Continuity and Operations to ensure that ASPR and all 26 Divisions within HHS are compliant with federal emergency preparedness policy, including support for large-scale capability exercises.
The person in this role will:
- Develop continuity plans and procedures in accordance with the HHS Continuity of Operations Program Policy, Federal Continuity Directive 1 and 2 guidelines, and in accordance with other guidance provided by FEMA, DHS, and/or the National Security Council Staff. Examples of these tasks include the following:
- Assist with updates to HHS Continuity Policy, HHS Continuity of Operations Plan, HHS Multi-Year Strategy and Program Management Plan, and ASPR Continuity of Operations plans and related documentation.
- Assist with creation, scheduling, and facilitation of office calls and workshops with HHS Operating and Staff Divisions needed to gather information to support test, training, and exercise needs and related updates to the HHS Continuity Policy, HHS Continuity Framework, and ASPR Continuity of Operations plans.
- Support the creation of tools and templates to facilitate HQ and regional continuity planning efforts.
- Support delivery of continuity working group meetings, including maintaining needed distribution lists and points of contact rosters.
- Support operational needs at the HHS continuity facility.
- Maintain supporting systems, tools, and directories needed to support HHS and ASPR leadership.
- The documentation for developing and fostering continuity plans shall be gathered through in-person visits, facilitated discussions, and email exchanges. Expectations from these discussions include creating materials to:
- Identify strengths and best practices that shall be maintained and built upon.
- Identify potential areas for further improvement and gaps to address in future plan iterations.
- Provide recommendations for follow-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in public or business administration; Graduate degree preferred.
- Four to six (4-6) years of government-related program management office support experience providing analysis and input to operational plans and policies; coordinating multiple stakeholders and documenting data; and managing projects from requirement gathering through completion.
- Familiarity with federal emergency management and continuity policies.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualification:
- FEMA Emergency Management certification desired.
Additional Information:
- This is a hybrid position.
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $78,000.
