Physician-Psychiatry Faculty, Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center (MMC) and the MaineHealth Medical Group seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient team at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine.
Successful candidates will be gifted clinician-educators committed to identifying and treating psychiatric illnesses and interested in working with a team of like-minded interprofessional colleagues. This position offers a unique blend of clinical time in a general child psychiatric clinic and as an integrated psychiatrist in the Maine Medical Center Gender Clinic team. The Gender Clinic is comprised of a dedicated multidisciplinary team that is guided by WPATH standards of care and cares for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Experience working with family systems is required. The clinic has a long history of collaborative care guiding families in shared decision-making in this rapidly evolving field.
This position offers the opportunity to be involved with medical education with both UME and GME learners. We provide training experiences for Tufts University School of Medicine and other medical students, general psychiatry residents, and child & adolescent psychiatry fellows.
