PACKARD CULLIGAN WATER - Director of Sales
In this position, you will lead the sales organization at Packard Culligan, a franchise of Culligan International. You will have responsibility for Residential sales, Commercial Drinking Water sales, and Commercial/Industrial sales with employees and locations in the East, Midwest, and West regions of the U.S.
The following are key competencies and responsibilities for the position:
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop & align long-term and near-term strategy and specific initiatives, considering company direction, customer priorities, market parameters, resources, and company growth targets
- Direct, execute, and maintain a strong business plan that will provide strategy, guidance, and direction for the sales organization to achieve desired growth and meet established performance targets
- Develop sales goals and activity requirements to support the strategy
- Monitor industry, competitive landscape, market trends, and develop plans to address risks and opportunities
- Allocate resources where investment has the highest return on investment and with initiatives of strategic importance and relevance
- Use data and analytics to forecast sales staffing and resource needs across markets
- Develop and maintain profitable, productive relationships with marketing leaders and agencies in order to significantly capture sales and market share
- Lead team to develop creative strategies and initiatives to support sales growth
Sales Team Management and Leadership
- Establish clear expectations for sales activities and results at the local, region, and company level
- Provide oversight and accountability for the activities and results of sales leaders, sales representatives, and sales support staff
- Ensure sales employees receive the training and development necessary for their job
- Provide regular coaching, development, and performance management with direct reports and establish accountability for the same practices between sales leaders and their employees
- Use sales metrics to coach to results, trends, and opportunities for teams and individuals
- Ensure the sales team's efforts are aligned with company vision and values
- Lead and manage through change to support adoption of new behaviors and ongoing two-way communication
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Improve relationships and expand scope of influence across functions by adding value through thought leadership and strategic partnerships
- Lead joint business planning across functions to align targets & growth building blocks to enable success of shared goals
- Provide guidance and coordination for sales-related activities with operations and service partners
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop approaches and initiatives that will drive market differentiation and success
- Actively participate and contribute to the goals and objectives of the company by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

Education and experience requirements
- Bachelor's Degree completion
- 3-5 Years of executive-level sales leadership experience
Preferred experience
- Sales leadership in a regional and multi-state sales environment
- Experience leading in EOS
- Experience in Sales Force
