A day in the life
The Marketing Partner is responsible for designing and implementing moderately complex marketing communications strategies that support organizational objectives and help achieve marketing and sales objectives for key lines of business. This position analyzes data and distills key insights to determine the best way to build brand equity, to promote a product or service and to obtain, retain or engage the customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supports marketing communications planning and execution for key lines of business.
- Develops marketing initiatives and campaigns based on customer data.
- Aids in developing recommendations to sales and marketing teams regarding the promotion of company products.
- Develops impactful, customer-driven strategic messaging and programs that enhance our market position and drive revenue and growth.
- Collaborates closely with internal and external creative, media planning and sales enablement partners to execute line of business marketing communications tactics.
- Provides ongoing communication with the line of business, executives and other relevant stakeholders on plan and project implementation, with a strong focus on execution excellence and responsiveness.
- Aids in the development of business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects, and marketing plans.
- Monitors the competitive environment, segment audience behaviors and expectations, as well as marketing communications trends to identify insights.
- Ensures brand and industry compliance standards are upheld across all lines of business marketing communications activities.
- Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
What you need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree with a focus in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related.
- 3 years of experience in customer segment marketing, sales, marketing communications, marketing plan development, advertising, strategic planning, or related. Health insurance, healthcare industry or agency-related experience is a plus!
- Have a knack for relationship building and communicating well with others.
- Be a strategic, analytical thinker who knows how to prioritize and organize work.
- Consultative approach when working with others.
Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards

Job posting policy
Employees new to Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota are eligible to apply for positions within their assigned department after successfully completing 90-days in their role.
