Position OverviewWe are looking for a Project Manager ("PM") to join the Corporate Finance team. This role will report to the Head of Finance Transformation and lead the planning and execution of strategic projects for Corporate Finance. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of various Finance Transformation initiatives and will work closely with business and functional leads and partners to ensure impactful completion of key projects.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the day-to-day project point of contact for Corporate Finance team and cross-functional groups for multiple Transformation initiatives.
- Develop tools to track and report on performance against goals, and identify the primary drivers of performance.
- Facilitate project-related meetings and discussions, helping to build an atmosphere of discovery and bringing discussion to resolution. Support the work of project-related committees, workgroups, and teams to drive decision-making and support effective communication.
- Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, timeframes, budgetary requirements, process, and procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allocation of resources.
- Develop and lead project plans with goals, strategy, dependencies, cost/benefit analysis, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
Qualifications- Proven track record in the delivery and adoption of change across an organization including building and delivering senior-level content and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of projects containing variable components of people, process, data, and technology solutions for design, development, and delivery.
- Experience in forming project management routines with clear expectations and consistent execution to drive daily, weekly, monthly project tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, ability to plan and prioritize, responsiveness, creativity.
- Advanced Excel and Presentation skills with experience in analytical tools preferred (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communications across all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Highly skilled in change and stakeholder management; solid ability to build partnerships and influence at multiple levels of an organization.
Education Preferred- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or Business.
- Completion of a CFA and/or MBA a plus.
Experience- 5+ Years of experience in Project Management capacity preferred.
- Financial services industry (asset management or banking) a plus.
