CoE Lead US - Senior Manager

YOUR ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Center of Excellence (CoE) Senior Manager to join our high-performing, collaborative global team at Genioo. As the lead of the CoE in the US, you will play a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of our organization by continuing to scale and develop the CoE. You will be the main catalyst in building and developing the CoE team in the Boston office. Working closely with leaders in Client Service, Commercial, and other functions, you will also provide strategic guidance and tactical support throughout the sales and project life cycle. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, team building / development, driving team efforts to meet client needs, and contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the organization. You will be a hands-on leader continuing to support and help the team grow skills surrounding their daily tasks of project support, proposal support, and knowledge capture. You will drive proposal and meeting preparation efforts by owning the process around collaboration on strategic proposals / meetings. You will work with sales leaders and consulting leaders to bring structure and cross-functional efforts together to put the best of Genioo forward in sales / business development efforts. You will support senior project delivery efforts if needed (but on a more limited basis). You will gain broad exposure to Genioo’s distinctive way of project delivery, from the initial scoping to final delivery, and be responsible for providing support and guidance on the most critical touch points during a project life cycle. You will become an expert in Genioo approaches, ensuring the entire team is trained on methodologies and can provide support to Client Service and Commercial on Genioo methodologies. The position will be based in our Boston, USA office.
What You'll Do
- Lead the CoE team in the US, reporting directly to the Global Head of CoE
- Lead CoE initiatives as the organization continues to develop and grow towards its future state operating model
- Manage the development and growth of CoE team members in the US
- Collaboratively solve complex problems and independently drive multi-functional team efforts to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Project manage strategic proposals and meeting preparation activities by organizing team efforts, collaborating across multiple functions, and owning selected content sections and chapters when needed
- Support project delivery efforts either as a member of the project team or ad hoc - when needed
- Escalate issues or challenges with projects or proposals / meeting preparation efforts when appropriate, across the team
- Support CoE team members with complex challenges related to their projects or proposal / meeting preparation efforts
- Build and maintain strong trust-based relationships with delivery and sales leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the organization
- Learn and be the expert in Genioo methodologies to support Client Service and Commercial functions
- Provide a deep understanding of the activities that can be supported to enable effective delivery and sales processes
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to drive the growth and scalability of the business
- Be a key catalyst and build a strong presence for the CoE in the Boston office during a rapid growth period
Who You Are
- 8-10 years of professional experience in management consulting, commercial/GtM strategy, sales enablement, consulting bid management, business operations, or business analytics roles. Experience in the Life Sciences industry is a plus
- 3-5 years of strong people development and team management experience
- Strong business acumen and judgment to strategically scale and equip the business
- Experience delivering consulting projects or managing internal transformational projects
- Acumen to escalate issues as needed to leadership, with the ability to problem solve independently when appropriate
- Motivated to manage many stakeholders and a fast changing company environment
- Ability to support sales / proposal efforts and project delivery efforts
- Experience working with directly with senior leadership on a day-to-day basis
- Experience bringing structured project management to initiatives, proposal efforts, or transformational projects in complex client environments with high delivery standards (VP / SVP visibility)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence senior leadership and clients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including modeling, pivot tables, macros, executive and client presentations. Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- “Can do” attitude toward tasks, from providing strategic guidance on proposal efforts to formatting a PowerPoint document for final distribution
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to derive insights from various datasets
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines
- Passion for delivering exceptional services and making a difference for both internal and external stakeholders
- Team-first minded individual with the interest in mentoring team members
