About the Senior FP&A Partner, Supply Chain Position:
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Partner to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the Operations Team (Fulfillment and Transportation) on budgeting and forecasting as well as the strategic decision support. This person will work closely with the business to identify key levers for efficiency, to evaluate investment opportunities, and to drive best practices.
As the Senior FP&A Partner, you will also partner on the KPIs and operational and financial success criteria. Additionally, the operations finance leader will work with the business on forecasting and planning in an accurate scalable manner which emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role that must sit within the Greater Atlanta Area.
What You’ll Do:
- Build trusted partnership with the business to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions promoting business improvements and cost reductions. You comfortably challenge assumptions and plans when you disagree, offering constructive alternatives and recommendations to business leaders.
- Leverage metrics to identify cost out opportunities by linking up operations and financials. Understand the details of the cost structure to make thoughtful judgment calls in ambiguous environments where data may be difficult to procure.
- Communicates data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Your communications drive critical business actions.
- Supervise and own the Financial and operational planning processes to produce a challenging/stretch/bold yet solid operational plan. Partner on Month-end procedures and variance analysis between scenarios (actuals, Plan, Forecast...)
- This leader will be the driver of controllership in the network, including building and ensuring high quality reporting infrastructure is in place.
- This role will partner closely with a broad range of Senior Executives in Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, Pricing, and Technology.
What You’ll Need:
- 8 years of experience with 6+ years in supply chain / operations
- Experience partnering with Fulfillment/Warehousing/Supply Chain leaders to identify key levers for efficiency, to evaluate investment opportunities, and to drive best practices.
- BA in Finance or other analytical discipline
- Financial modeling, excel, analytics experience
Bonus Points:
- Experience building in a dynamic public company or experience scaling in a start-up environment
- SQL and/or experience working with large data sets
