In order to fulfill that mission, we've launched a search focused on identifying an experienced and influential leader to join our Pharmacy team in the role of AVP, Business Technology Implementation. The role requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across segments and/or enterprise wide. The AVP will report directly to the Vice President of Pharmacy Business Improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead an organization of 35-40 associates, including approximately 4 direct reports.
- Deliver new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives.
- Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team.
- Make decisions which are typically related to intradepartmental coordination, development and implementation of strategic plans, and business outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the scope of management that are aligned with the Segment or Business strategy.
- Deliver and execute on the IT portfolio spend.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 or more years of direct leadership experience.
- Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional and collaborative teams' efforts.
- Relationship management experience.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies.
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
- Pharmacy related experience.
Additional Information
Work-At-Home location is flexible and remote, anywhere across the US. Requires approximately 10% travel as business needs dictate.
