As our first Product Engineer, you will be a key leader on our engineering team. You will focus on user experience and improvements to our overall product. You'll make an impact while staying customer-focused.
Our stack: Typescript/Javascript, React, Python/Django
You will:
- Focus on optimizing the customer lifecycle and ensuring that we deliver a world-class user experience.
- Work with Product Management and our engineering and design teams to iterate on new features.
- Write well-polished and tested code consistently.
- Design, build, and deploy features end to end making a significant impact on our company goals and our product.
You are:
- Experienced with 6+ years of engineering experience.
- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS.
- Knowledgeable with creating adaptive, cross-browser, and semantic code using CSS animations, CSSTransition, Flexbox, Grid, SASS, and SCSS.
- Well-versed in BEM Methodology, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, Gulp, WebPack, React, and Git.
- Able to convert Figma Designs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS for React framework.
- Collaborative and enjoy working with multiple teams.
- An excellent communicator with native or close to-native English skills.
- Results-driven and enjoy a fast-paced environment; startup experience is a huge plus.
- Passionate about learning; willing to dive into documentation/videos, talk to teammates, and experiment to become well-versed.
