Director, Customer Relationship Management
Prudential’s Group Insurance (GI) Premier, Customer Relationship Management team is seeking a Regional Account Director to lead its East Region team of Account Executives. Reporting to the Vice President, Customer Relationship Management, the incumbent is a member of the GI Distribution Extended Leadership Team, accountable to lead Account Executive professionals who service middle market financial/insurance accounts, ranging in size from 500 to 4,999 employees and ensures that relationships are built, grown and sustained with new and existing customers. The role is also focused on defining, developing and implementing processes, performance measures and tools to enhance the account management function and the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the execution of the Premier Account relationship management strategy within the East Region supporting cases that range in size from 500 to 4,999 employees, with varying complexities.
- Attract and retain top Account Executive talent, providing direct coaching and development including responsibility for account management activities (e.g., strategic account planning, retention, add issue, profitability, service) for customers with 500 to 4,999 employees.
- Work collaboratively with the Vice President (VP) of Customer Relationship Management and Regional Vice President (RVP) to meet or exceed annual persistency, profitability and revenue growth objectives.
- Achieve segment financial goals/metrics working collaboratively with the VP of Customer Relationship Management, RVP’s and Premier Distribution.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal business partners, sales reps, third party administrators to facilitate high quality service support, customer satisfaction, persistency and profitability.
- Assist Premier Account Executives with day-to-day engagements and escalations with customers and producers, annual business planning and regular reviews to gain insight into office and region dynamics, books of business and producer/customer relationships.
- Develop successful relationships with customers and producers within assigned regions.
- Active participation and engagement in strategic projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years insurance/financial services experience
- Regional leadership experience desired, but not required
- Knowledge and understanding of pricing and general underwriting concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative skills.
- Active Group Life and Health Insurance license or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 25% travel required.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $144,500.00 to $195,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
