Description
Primary Purpose of Position: The Receptionist/Program Support Specialist is to provide a warm welcome to guests as well as general support to all service activities for the Partnership for Children & Families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone.
- Direct calls/visitors to appropriate associates and/or resources.
- Collect, date-stamp and distribute mail.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Maintain general office supply inventory.
- Serve as a point of contact for recycling, housekeeping, pest control, etc. as needed.
- Check in and distribute donations.
- Assist in the processing of NC PreK registration/enrollment efforts.
- Assist in the processing and database management for SS Subsidy.
- Provide Spanish translation with clients, as well as may be asked to perform translation of PFCF forms, brochures, educational materials, etc.
- Assist with registration for trainings and special events.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for community events, workshops, and others as needed; update Monthly Wall Calendar.
- Keep elevator area and front office area clean and neat.
- Assist with Happy Bottoms Bank Distribution.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Executive Director for service-related support.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma, Associate Degree in Business Administration, Child Development, or equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Bilingual
Valid driver's license, NC preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
Job is Full Time @ 36 hours/week Monday through Friday and is NOT remote. May require some evenings and weekends, but will flex schedule accordingly.
