The C+E Commerce & Ecosystems team is working to enable an easier experience for customers and partners to grow, as well as to buy and do business with us by delivering a dependable, safe and secure commerce infrastructure.
The C+E Sales & Partner Services (SPS) team works on two major areas:
- We build the tool chain for the Microsoft sales force to enable pre-sales, sales in New Commerce, Co-selling with Partners, and post sales engagement.
- We build the systems that enable the Microsoft partner ecosystem, including the Microsoft cloud partner program, The New Commerce breadth motion or CSP and the systems to motivate partners to drive the right business and customer outcomes.

As a Senior Software Engineer - Power Platform, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge software solutions that drive innovation using and enhancing the user experience across a wide range of Microsoft products and services. You will have the chance to work with the latest enhancements directly from the product team and help influence the evolution of enterprise application development worldwide!

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable and high-performance software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.
- Analyze and optimize software performance to ensure responsiveness and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Actively participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in delivering applications with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, especially Power Apps, Power Automate, or Canvas apps, and familiarity with PowerFX and component design.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience developing and integrating Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls with other Microsoft services to enhance the capabilities of Power Platform solutions.
- Proficiency in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and a growth mindset.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
