We're seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focused on our Eviti product line.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works within an agile framework to analyze business requirements, identify user stories, test deliverables and estimation of delivery (as part of a feature team).
- Actively participates in the implementation of features using C# and JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Demonstrates deep understanding of software design principles through coding activities, along with the ability to instill this knowledge in more junior members of the team.
- Adheres to and applies overarching internal practices and policies with respect to coding standards, unit testing, source control, and CI.
- Proactively maintains and shares knowledge of best practice software development approaches such as design patterns, 3rd party tools, language features that are potentially beneficial to NantHealth.
- Works with the team and stakeholders, leading the delivery of estimates for assigned work.
- Drives collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure that new features meet user expectations and are developed within projected timescales to meet the needs of the business.
- Identifies and helps prevent and solve problems within the department.
- Uses experience and analysis to design and implement solutions with input from higher level team members.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years’ of related experience required with Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years' of related experience with a Master’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced skills in object-oriented programming with C#.
- Advanced skills building web apps using frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js.
- Advanced skills in usage of a source control system like GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (e.g. Azure).
- Experience with microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Intermediate level knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases.
- Ability to communicate with parties within and outside of functional area and possibly with customers, vendors, etc.
- Ability to communicate matters that are difficult / complex and require extensive explanation or interpretation.
- Provides input on group’s technical direction; ability to drive project methods, techniques and procedures.
- Technical explanations and guidance within and beyond project team and external contacts; may include some challenging interactions.
The salary range for remote US-based applicants for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
- $90,000 - $126,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.
