Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor who are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse professional to manage their fast paced Warehouse operation at their site near Boston, Lincolnshire on a Monday – Friday basis.
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Manage the warehouse team (c40 FTEs through 2 Direct Reports) in order to meet agreed budgets and drive KPIs operational covering costs, productivity and service standards to deliver a profitable service to customersSupport and manage the deployment and performance of warehouse team in order to ensure the development and retention of accounts and maximise productivity within the businessFull budgetary control of all operational activities such as stock management, credit management and manage the company assets in warehouse e.g. cages, pallets and control to achieve agreed targets and broader depot goalsIdentifying opportunities to ensure appropriate planning and resourcing, development, training is in place to meet the business performanceDemonstrate the expected behaviours and standards of a people leader to recruit, engage and develop the capability of their people and generate the right high performance culture for the business
Warehouse Manager Candidate:
From a FMCG background with excellent People Management skills; able to engage, motivate and achieve resultsExcellent Communicator with previous Warehouse Management experienceExperience of effective cost management and able to work within tight budgetary controlsCustomer driven with a collaborative and hands-on approach
