Main responsibility is certifying all city-county transactions, oversight of all financial activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and payroll.
Position will require performing administrative and financial duties as well as supervision of clerical staff. Requires a thorough knowledge of local government, government accounting laws, legal duties, government accounting and bookkeeping practices, business administration, and computer operations.
Must have a Bachelor degree in Accounting or closely related field. Salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
