As the Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of our website platform. Enabling key internal stakeholders to use your platform (and CMS) to merchandise our product offering on the website. This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies and agile methodologies to deliver a robust but nimble platform that meets business needs.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the dotcom platform and CMS components, aligning with business goals and market demands.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, content creators, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and manage product features and enhancements.
- Requirement Management: Gather and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with customer needs. Document in JIRA tickets and manage backlog for the development teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates, progress reports, and managing expectations effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products by defining and validating product features, conducting testing, and overseeing the implementation process.
- Release Management: Coordinate product releases, ensuring timely and successful deployments while managing risks and dependencies.
- Analytics and Optimization: Monitor product performance, gather and analyze user feedback and data, and use insights to drive continuous improvements and optimizations.
Who you are:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Product Owner or similar role, specifically working with CMS and website platform technologies.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS systems (e.g., WordPress, Contentful), JIRA process management, and digital product development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize product performance.
- Leadership abilities with a proactive, problem-solving attitude and a focus on delivering results.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
