ReMatter - Sr. Product Manager
Hybrid (3 days/week in-person), Los Angeles (Sawtelle / Santa Monica)

ReMatter is a fast-growing start-up creating a modern operating system for the industrial scrap recycling industry. We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager to execute on our vision of building a central operating system for metal recyclers of all sizes.

As a Sr. Product Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the CEO on translating the product vision into quarter-over-quarter product roadmaps that will help guide the executional direction of the product and engineering teams
- Manage the biweekly sprint process including the pre-sprint planning and prioritization process, ongoing communication with internal stakeholders to track and accurately communicate sprint fulfillment, and post-sprint release execution
- Aggregate relevant data and feedback from internal and external stakeholders to create comprehensive user stories and product decisions
- Collaborate with engineering management to create clear specifications for product changes
- Conduct regular customer communications and interviews to ensure the voice of the customer is maintained as a key part of the product iteration process
- Generate non-technical release notes for customers and internal stakeholders on the go-to-market team and handle communication of these notes to relevant parties
- Maintain up-to-date competitive analyses to understand how our product fits into our target market and utilize this information to help drive product direction where necessary
- Assist the SVP of Revenue with pricing and packaging decisions based on quantitative and qualitative product data
- Align internal stakeholders across engineering, design, and revenue to achieve product greatness
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 4+ years or experience (or equivalent knowledge/abilities) in product management
- Has outstanding ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audience
- Possess strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, product monitoring, and software releases
- Can rigorously prioritize effort based on potential impact, aligning with the company’s objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Is able to maintain focus on high leverage objectives, even if some stakeholders are deprioritized
- Understands customer needs and can reconcile conflicting requests into product features that deliver the highest possible value across the customer base
- Can extract and analyze data, identify key insights, risks and challenges, and translate these into product decisions and specifications
- Has technical acumen and is comfortable with technical concepts, understanding technical challenges, and collaborating with engineers to inform product decisions
- Is available to travel to conferences — usually two per year — and to visit customers on site as required. We estimate this to take ~5% of your time at most
