Course Hero is looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on and mission-driven
Head of Product for all of Course Hero.com’s product lines. This leadership role will be responsible for driving strategy, execution, and business outcomes for the entire customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention. You will manage a product team of 15+ and report to and partner with the CEO of CH.com to directly influence the future of Course Hero.
This is a role that requires business acumen, strong user empathy, and an obsession with data to make big strategic bets coupled with tactical wins to reach the desired business outcomes.

- Collaborate with Design and Marketing to build Course Hero’s brand as the go-to learning platform for every course.
- Directly influence our corporate development strategy to identify potential opportunities to bolster Course Hero’s growth and product innovation.
Are you our VP of Product?- Experience leading high performing product development teams.
- Entrepreneurial drive and spirit to deliver business results.
- Proven ability to lead growth and product teams spanning acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Proven expertise in turning complex consumer problems into simple and delightful user experiences.
- Confidence to lead with experience, but validates through an obsessive focus on user research, competitive analysis, and experimentation.
- Able to build a compelling strategy and work with the team to drive executional excellence.
- Proven ability to partner with design, analytics, and engineering in a product management led company.
Bonus Points- Experience with marketplace products, aggregators, and network effects.
- Proven track record managing P&Ls (or at least, top-line revenue).
- Experience scaling distribution through SEO, performance marketing, and partnerships.

We are a virtual-first company and have employees dispersed throughout the United States and Canada. We have a market-based pay structure that varies by location. The base pay for this position is dependent on multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in our bonus program and may be offered an equity award, benefits, and other types of compensation.
This role is eligible for hire in the San Francisco Bay Area (US).
In accordance with California law, the base salary for this role if filled within California is $241,000 - $434,000.
