Proper Hospitality is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales to join our Los Angeles-based corporate team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Senior Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial success of Proper Hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing market positioning and developing innovative strategies to ensure the continued success and expansion of our luxury hospitality brand.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative commercial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Continuously assess and adapt strategies in response to market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
Revenue Optimization:
- Drive revenue growth through the development and execution of effective pricing strategies.
- Manage distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement targeted initiatives that enhance revenue streams.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
Partnership Development:
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including investors, property owners, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to explore mutually beneficial opportunities for business growth.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial strategy team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Effectively communicate the company's vision, goals, and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment across the team.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of ideas and expertise across departments.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of commercial strategies.

Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful leadership in commercial strategy roles within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Extensive experience in revenue management, pricing strategies, and market analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate industry trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field; MBA preferred.
