About The Role
We are looking for a senior marketing manager to lead our Global Customer Promotions Program. Reporting to our Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will work collaboratively across our Consumer Product, Business Management, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams to bring to market customer experiences with promotional offers that are relevant for our target audience and maximize value for the business. We are looking for someone who has worked on complex programs that span across multiple countries and languages. You are a strategic and data-driven operator who is passionate about consumer behavior and delighting customers, and you are looking for an opportunity to take a program to the next level at global scale.
You Will
- Identify and deliver promotional offers that help acquire and retain customers -- efficiently, within customer acquisition cost and budget guardrails, and at global scale.
- Become a subject matter expert in Remitly's marketing tools for promotional pricing and merchandising.
- Partner with Analytics and Regional Marketing Managers; and train marketers who support execution, channel managers who advertise promotional offers, and more.
- Improve how Remitly operationalizes our promotions investment, processes, learning agenda, and strategy as the global Single Threaded Leader responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of customer promotional offers.
- Partner with the broader Marketing, Consumer Product, and Business Management teams to ensure our promotions strategy evolves in light of market trends and our business goals, in particular partnering with Product Managers to translate promotions strategy into product requirements.
- Report on the global Marketing Customer Promotions Program to leadership, including performance and program metrics, lessons learned from experimentation, and customer and competitor trends.
You Have
- 6+ years of marketing experience, including managing promotional offers or a customer rewards program for a data-driven consumer product company.
- Program management experience, where you made complex trade-off decisions, were accountable for a significant budget, and built support for new business cases and processes (change management).
- Demonstrated experience working with Analytics to transform hypotheses into an experiment plan and then coordinate the end-to-end execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Masters degree in business or marketing preferred, or equivalent experience.

Compensation Details
The starting base salary range for this position is typically $144,000-$180,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
