Experienced Senior Counsel - Media Industry
JDHuntr is currently seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles, CA. As a Senior Counsel, you will play a vital role in our content practice by leading the drafting and negotiation of agreements for our film, TV, unscripted, and creative production projects.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate development agreements, production service agreements, and talent agreements for various content projects.
- Collaborate closely with our Production Counsel and Business Affairs team to provide valuable advice on compliance matters and legal clearances.
- Conduct legal awareness training sessions for the business and production teams to ensure understanding of legal processes.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials.
- At least [X years] of experience working as an in-house counsel in the media industry.
- Solid expertise in drafting and negotiating various agreements, particularly in film, TV, unscripted, and creative production.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- In-depth understanding of compliance matters and legal clearances in the media industry.
