Requirements
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
- Board Certification.
- Credentialed by the MDI Hospital Medical Staff to practice Psychiatry.
- Maintains membership in the Active Medical Staff at MDI Hospital in good standing.
- DEA certified.
Experience Required:
Five years of post-residency clinical practice preferred.

- Emotional maturity and good people skills required.
- Ability to work with distressed or anxious patients or family members.
- Ability to take in, process and apply clinical information in a wide variety of patient care situations.
- Ability to learn new techniques, skills, and treatments and incorporate them into current practice.
- Ability to process and interpret complex information.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours per day, bend, stoop and twist.
- Able to perform under stress.
