Job Description:

We care for patients in Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties through inpatient acute hospital services at UF Health The Villages Hospital and UF Health Leesburg Hospital, inpatient rehabilitation services at UF Health The Villages Rehabilitation Hospital, and diagnostic laboratory services at several locations.
What We Are Looking For:
UF Health Medical Group in Leesburg, FL, and The Villages, FL is seeking a full-time, highly skilled, and Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with completion of a spine fellowship. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the evaluation and surgical management of spinal injuries. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialty License or Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty; Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.
