Colorectal Surgeon needed in Southern CA
Need is due to retirement.
50% colorectal; 50% general surgery cases.
Hospital based practice with established volume and clinics for the new doctor to see patients and build their cases.
Huge volume of GI patients.
Currently, there is a part-time experienced CRS who will stay on to mentor the new hire until they are fully up and running.
The CRS position is in addition to the 4 General Surgeons (2 currently in place, recruiting for 2 more) plus the trauma team.
The new CRS will help build the General Surgery Residency Program.
There is little to no call; the current CRS takes call for their two GS when he works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, but it is only phone calls.
There is one community CRS in town.
