As soon as the Physician buys a % of the Assets, they gain control of the corresponding % of company shares and profits, which they can use to increase their compensation plus purchase the goodwill with the practice’s money. If and when, the Physician leaves or retires, they can sell their shares back to the practice under the same exact formula they bought in.

- The physician may earn additional compensation for supervising PAs, ANPs, or Aestheticians. The physician IS NOT obligated to supervise anybody unless they so choose. In terms of incentive compensation, the physician receives 10% of all midlevel production they sign off for in year 1 if the midlevel is new to dermatology. In Year 2 they receive 7.5%, and year 3 they receive 5%. If the NP or PA has prior dermatology experience, the physician earns 5% of everything they sign off on annually. Irrespective of the above, at any time, the physician receives 10% for the 3rd and 4th and so on, PAs or NPs they may choose to supervise.
