About the Role of Director of Analytics
As the first Director of Analytics, you will build the Analytics function inside of FightCamp and grow a team of Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts & Data Scientists. You will also work directly with heads of all departments to define and measure the impact of investments in the end-to-end customer experience.
What You Will Do
- Audit our data collection and infrastructure to identify opportunities and failure points and provide state-of-the-art solutions
- Design and execute an effective hiring action plan to build an analytics function that can fulfill the needs of the organization
- Partner with all business leads to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
- Compile and reconcile data from multiple sources inclusive of internal and 3rd party
- Create a growth model for the company based on interactions with our owned, earned, and paid channels
Requirements
- 8-10 years of work experience in analytics/data science/business intelligence capacity
- Prior management experience leading a team of data professionals
- Strong understanding of best practices and KPIs around e-commerce and subscription-based consumer products
- Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
- High level of proficiency in SQL, Excel/Spreadsheets, Github, Python/R
- A team player who excels in a collaborative work environment
- Capable of explaining the most complex models in a succinct and digestible manner
- Prior experience building and maintaining an ELT Data Infrastructure
- Experience with data privacy compliance is a plus
