Description
Are you ready for a rewarding career in psychiatry? The Wright Center for Community Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike in Northeast Pennsylvania, has an opportunity for a psychiatrist who wants to serve and teach. Our organization operates a growing network of primary care practices, including school-based practices and a mobile outreach unit, that treat patients of all ages using a team-based, Patient-Centered Medical Home model approach. Our psychiatrists work in, and contribute to, an academic environment where they teach and supervise physician residents who train in the multiple programs offered by our affiliated entity, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education – the nation’s largest HRSA-funded Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education Consortium. We offer a four-year psychiatry residency program that proudly celebrated its first graduates in June, 2021.
Make an impact: Our integrated primary care clinics serve a high-needs area (Mental Health HPSA score: 14), treating all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
