What You Will Be Working On
As Vivint's Senior Product Manager for Energy Management, you will be at the forefront of an extraordinary energy transformation by leading the charge in turning homes from passive energy consumers into active energy powerhouses. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing strategies that not only enhance user participation in demand response programs but also drive innovation in how these programs integrate with home energy systems. Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Leading product strategy on Vivint’s Energy Management to improve user experience, customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention for energy programs, products, and services.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, program, and QA to ensure delivery against product roadmap.
- Distill complicated problems into simple, minimal solutions delivered through the Vivint mobile app and enabling hardware.
- Write clear and concise user stories and requirements, prioritizing development items to align with the product roadmap.
- Pursue product and industry knowledge on residential Energy management solutions and Demand Response programs, identify trends and opportunities, and become the subject matter expert on designated products.
- Partner with our world-class User Research team to identify problems, test solutions, and learn about our customers.
- Advocate for the customer and the business, through research, insights, and regular contact with our customer base.
- Rapidly iterate product concepts through user testing, high fidelity mocks & prototypes, user journey maps, storyboards, and more.
- Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvements.
- Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting results.
- Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support product channels for launch.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of relevant PM experience.
- Energy experience (preferred, but not required).
- Product Growth experience (preferred, but not required).
- Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
